Cookie Policy

Revised: April 2026

1. Cookies, demystified

Cookies are small text files your browser places on your device when it opens Torboto. They help the site recall the wallet you connected, the tab you left open, and the settings you chose, so each reload does not put you back at square one.

A cookie cannot carry a virus, cannot read other files on your device, and holds no personally identifiable information unless you supplied it yourself on purpose.

2. The categories we set

2.1 Strictly necessary

The dashboard cannot run without these. Drop them and you lose the ability to sign in with a wallet, open your live campaigns, or hold a session together as you move between pages.

  • Active wallet session identifier
  • CSRF and anti-abuse tokens
  • Consent-preference state

2.2 Preference

These hold onto the choices you make — tab layout, density mode, campaign templates — so nothing needs resetting each time you return.

  • Dashboard layout density
  • Last-used campaign preset
  • Notification opt-ins

2.3 Performance

Small timers that report how fast pages render, helping us locate and repair the slow corners of the product.

3. Third parties

While you use the platform, a few partners may set cookies of their own:

  • Wallet adapters (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, WalletConnect) for secure authentication
  • RPC and metadata providers (Helius) for quicker on-chain lookups

Every one of those vendors follows its own cookie practices, which you can read in full on their sites.

4. Managing your preferences

The control is yours. On arrival the consent banner lets you accept or turn down non-essential cookies, and your browser hands you even tighter control:

  • Chrome → Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox → Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge → Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage cookies
Heads up: turning off strictly-necessary cookies switches off wallet login and stops the dashboard from loading. If something looks broken, the first fix to try is allowing cookies for the site again.

5. How long cookies live

  • Session cookies vanish the instant you close the browser tab — these handle wallet auth.
  • Persistent cookies remain for a fixed number of days (no more than 90) and drive your saved preferences.

Clearing site data from the browser menu wipes all of it whenever you choose.

6. Do Not Track

If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, that is honored — non-essential cookies pause for the session, while the strictly-necessary cookies the dashboard depends on keep running.

7. Revisions

We revisit this policy whenever the platform shifts or the rules change. The revision date above stays current, and any meaningful change prompts a banner on your next visit.
